Memo is built by Romain Lagrange. This page explains what data the app touches, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
The short version
- Your friends, notes, photos, catch-ups, and birthdays stay on your phone. They are stored locally and never uploaded to our servers.
- The only personal data we keep on a server is the identifier and email that Apple shares when you Sign in with Apple. It exists so you can sign back in on another device.
- We run no analytics. We use no third-party tracker. We sell nothing. We have no ads.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, in two taps.

What we collect
What you give us when you sign in
When you Sign in with Apple, Apple shares two things with us:
- A stable Apple user identifier.
- An email address. Apple may share your real email, or a private relay alias ending in
@privaterelay.appleid.com. Either way we treat it the same and use it only to recognize you on next sign-in.
We do not ask for your name, your phone number, or any other identity attribute.
